As an infant, George (Brendan Fraser)survived a plane crash that took him into the deepest depth's of the jungle. Raised by apes, the now adult George save's Ursula Stanhope (Leslie Mann) from certain death all the while as Ursula's partner Lyle (Thomas Haden Church) tries to track her down.
