The venerable action star Bruce Willis takes on the role of a Special-Ops commander who leads his team into the jungle of Nigeria to rescue a doctor played by Monica Belluci. While this should be a straightforward mission, they find it to be an extremely complicated situation when the doctor will only go with them if they agree to rescue 70 refugees too. A politically charged military drama, Tears of the Sun is an emotional and action packed look at making big moral choices while in the fog of war.
