1000 μ.Χ.A brutal and violent film by Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn, Valhalla Rising centers on a Norse warrior known as One-Eye who is held captive in a strange land. Forced to battle other prisoners to the death, he is stretched to his limits and eventually frees himself and kills all those around him, except for a small boy who gave him food everyday. Leaving this dreary land, he finds that the boy is following him, and they eventually become a pair. When they come across a group of crusaders, One-Eye must choose whether or not to try and repair his tortured soul by fighting in the Crusades. But will this act be enough to cleanse the demons he holds within?
